Schultz's Happy Tail....

Lyn and Schultz
|
Note from MSR (the Rescue): Schultz was adopted from MSR a few years back to a wonderful family in Gig Harbor, Washington.
I recently had a phone call from Gary that his mother, who has early Alzheimers, would be moving in with them.
She is highly allergic to dogs and cats. Even, Schnauzers. They needed to find a home for Schultz but didn't
want him to go into foster so we agreed I would do a referral placement.
A week or so later, I received a phone call from Lyn way down in California. Lyn is a retired police officer
from Lodi, California. He was looking to adopt a Schnauzer buddy and had been refused by several rescues
because he does not have a permanent address!

You see, Lyn has a 35' motorhome with three slides and
tows a Jeep. He is traveling the country and needs a co-pilot. Wouldn't you want to co-pilot? What better
home for a Schnauzer then a 24/7 Dad?
Lyn mentioned he would be traveling from California to Northern Washington state and Schultz popped
into my gray matter. Long story long, Lyn contacted Gary, talked about Schultz and Lyn took off to Gig Harbor.
The "meet and greet" went very well and Schultz is now on the road, traveling with Lyn. He settled in the
very first night like he owned the the joint!

Why not give a Schnauzer a forever home today?
