Adopted December 2002 – July 2009

"The Precious Little Girl" who was blessed by the people in her life after years of neglect.

"Samantha" was released to Miniature Schnauzer Rescue as a 6-1/2 year old special needs girl. She had blinding cataracts, and years of neglect had all but ruined her teeth. And yet, when Don and Nancy met her, she was down on the floor playing with them. Very unusual behavior for the doggie that usually shied away from strangers.

Don and Nancy brought their "precious little girl" home in December 2002, and three days later, Sami had oral surgery to remove most of her teeth. And following that, she had appointments with two ophthalmologists to examine her eyes. Sami had successful cataract surgery on both of her eyes, resulting in perfect eyesight for the rest of her life. She became a loved member of the family, going everywhere with Don, Nancy, and her Schnauzer brother "Lil Boy."

Don and Nancy recently lost the "love of their lives." Sami was 13 years old, and in spite of being diabetic, she could still see very well with her "new eyes". They sent a message to MSR saying, "We wanted you to know how grateful we are to you for giving us Sami, and letting us into her life."

Why not give a Schnauzer a forever home today?
