Bailey

Bailey November 1, 2000 - March 19, 2007

His name was Bailey, he was my little buddy for 4 1/2 years. I think God put him into my life to teach me patience, which he did a very good job of. He taught me when he left my life too early.

Poor little guy had anxiety attacks every time he thought we were going to leave him, so, of course, we took him with us as much as possible. He was the best car riding little dog I've ever seen.

He was given to us after my husband's older dog, Schnapps, passed away and was supposed to be my husband's dog, but it was quite apparent right from the start that he chose me as his forever Mom. He followed me everywhere I went and he used to go in my sewing rooom with me and just stand there so I put a dog bed in there for him. He was perfectly content to lay in it the whole time I was in there sewing.

We took him to the vet to find out why he was having so many bladder infections and found out then he had kidney failure. After doing absolutely everything possible for him, he passed away March 19, 2007 in my husband's arms.

I think of him everyday and remember the funny things he used to do, like go out back and bark and scratch his back feet at the dog through the fence. Of course, he would come back in all muddy.

I miss him so much and someday he'll cross the rainbow bridge to meet me when it's my time to go.
